... In the late 90, a journalism student at PUC-PR in Curitiba, produced a course conclusion work on the children's series keys. The work was widely praised by bank examiner, who praised the investigative capacity of the student.
This TCC devotes one of its chapters to the study of output Carlos Villagran, Quico, the program team. Although it has no conclusive evidence, the work behind an intriguing theory about the motives that led him to leave.

... At the end of 1977 Carlos Villagrán, which from the beginning of the series played the Quico in Chaves, leaves the series. The real reasons were never officially disclosed, and numerous hypotheses have been raised in an attempt to explain his departure. What is certain is that Villagrán and Roberto Gomes Bolaños, series creator and performer of the title character, never resumed their friendship that kept since the early 70s.
... In 1977, when the Villagrán output, the Mexican newspaper El Universal published an article which explained the reasons swoop between Villagrán and Bolaños. According to the newspaper, the output of Quico was made by creative differences. During the filming of a pilot episode, which would open the 1978 season of the program, Villagrán would have regarded the program content as repulsive, and left the team in the sequence. However, the newspaper did not say what was the episode of the content in question.
... Vilagran, to this day, refuses to comment on the matter. Any interview to be addressed this imbroglio is immediately closed by the team of Villagrán advisors.Supposedly, the newspaper had access to a copy of the relevant episode's script, but not published nor mentioned anything about its contents. That would be the result of an agreement between the regular board with top executives of Televisa, which disbursed a substantial amount of money to prevent the publication of this roadmap. It is said that copies of such script survived, saved by newspaper employees.
... The pilot episode was even recorded, and even edited for subsequent presentation to the Televisa executives. It is said that they would have been horrified at the content. A program director at the time, reportedly said that the program was absolutely inappropriate for children, and, in fact, absolutely unsuitable for anyone.
... The original recording of this episode was destroyed by Televisa. However, a clandestine copy was made by an employee of the issuer. This copies would have been sold to an Argentine collector in 1996, in a transaction that would have involved somewhere around $ 4,000.
... The testimony below is a compendium of statements by some Televisa employees who at the time were submitted to the program display. They asked not to be identified. Few get to see the finished and edited episode, and some of these have died.
... From the 1974 season, the Keys was gaining prominence in the programming of Televisa, and getting more and more success with the public. Bolaños, however, restless artist that he was, wanted to introduce changes in the program. Few people know that at the time, Bolaños made plans to write scripts mystery and horror, and abandon humorous.
... During the season of 1975, Bolaños tries to introduce some of those elements in the Keys.
